There are a lot of photos here. They are all kinda out of order. So I will just say what each one was and you can get a jumbled view of the show because I put a link up to watch the entire spring show!

Another night at the Beach House

After a long day rafting, we went to the Beach House for some downtime. Here are some pictures:

Dorm Banquet

Cedro Banquet was on Monday. 

We watched a slide show of pictures from all our yearly adventures. 

The staff made a final video for us. We also watched a video from the night before the staff met us telling us how they were feeling at the time and how they were feeling about the start of the year.

We gave out superlatives that were really fun and awesome. I got "Most Likely to be the Next Oprah." I am not entirely sure if I understand it but it is an honor.

We also got these dog tags (because our theme this year was Scooby Doo) with Cedro 2013-2014 written on them. Everyone is wearing them until the end of the year.

Rafting - Or Floating Down a River (The Last of the Cedro Dorm Days)

Our last big dorm event of year was a rafting trip last weekend. Now when most people think about rafting, they think of this:

We did NOT go white water rafting! Ben (the RA who organized the trip) called it "floating down a river with the greatest people who you have gotten through so much with this year." 

That was more accurate. It was more like:

We floated down the Stanislaus river. We didn't need a guide because it was so relaxing and chill. People purposefully jumped into the water to float along for awhile and many of us ended the trip not in the boat we started in. We had an absolutely amazing time. It was definitely one of the highlights of my year.

Frost Music Festival

After 8 hours of training for my summer job with Stanford Student Housing, I headed over to Frost Amphitheater for Frost Music Festival to see Yeasayer and Distpatch perform. 

Frost is a beautiful outdoor arena on campus. My parents went to go see Grateful Dead shows there. Actually, one of the Dispatch band members was also at Frost in 1986 to see a Grateful Dead show. Crazy, right?

Dispatch was awesome! It was so much fun. Yeasayer was amazing as well. I loved both!

Yosemite

Our dorm took a trip to Yosemite over the weekend!

We stayed in some cabins/tents right near the trails. We got in Friday evening and came back Sunday afternoon. It was filled with fun. 

On Saturday we took about a 9 mile hike (The Mist Trail) from 10:00am - 4:00pm. We hiked to the top of both the Vernal and and Nevada Falls. It was absolutely beautiful. Some of the most stunning views I have ever seen. And so, of course, I took some pictures to share.

The beginning of a tough and misty (we got pretty wet) climb to the top of Vernal Falls with Maia.

We had a good time

Made it to the top of Nevada Falls. Had lunch up here and spent some time meditating, which was wonderful.

This is on the way back down from the Nevada Falls. We basically had a view of the waterfall the whole way back down on the John Muir trail.
